Overseas move – We will come to your home and do a survey noting which of your personal effects and household goods that will be shipped, we then provide free quote that will include the cost of shipping, packing and having your export completed. Our staff will compile an inventory and mark all boxes as required by the authorities at their destination. Through our affiliates your cargo will be unpacked and set-up at your new location. They will also complete the essential forms required for processing the household goods or used personal effects at their destination. Local Move – We will come to your home at your convenience, pack your personal effects and have them transported to your new location, unpack, set-up and remove the debris. Freight Consolidation Our Freight Forwarders offer weekly consolidation service from Miami and Tampa. Consolidations allow multiple customers to combine their cargo with other shipments that are bound for the same destination thereby affording them the full container rate charges. Cargo Tracking If you wish to track your your cargo feel free to contact us during our business hours and we’d be happy to assist you in this service. Handling Hazardous Materials Our staff are trained and capable of handling hazardous material. Examples of hazardous items are airbags, air conditioning equipment, aircraft parts, auto parts, batteries, breathing apparatus, camping gear/equipment, powered tools, chemical oxygen, cigarette lighters, computer equipment, cosmetics, tanks, electrical equipment, fertilizer, fire fighting equipment, frozen food, gas, cleaning goods, medical supplies & equipment, and pharmaceuticals. Custom Broker All cargoes entering the Cayman Islands are subject to duty assessment by the Cayman Islands Customs Department. Items such as furniture, building material and appliances may be subject to one rate and in other instances a Returning Resident or New Resident may qualify to import their used household goods at no charge. A reputable Broker will ensure you are charged the correct tariff rates imposed on your cargo. Delivery Services We provide port-to-door, door-to-door, and door-to-port delivery to and from any location in Grand Cayman.  Your cargo can be directly delivered to you after it has arrived and has been cleared by customs. Crating We provide specialized crating for your valuables, personal effects or commercial equipment. Crating is recommended for long distance moves as it protects your cargo from damage, weather conditions, and easy access for pilferage. Crated items will also attract better rates when buying insurance coverage. Our crates comply with the European Union and United States of America standards using NON- MANUFACTURED WOOD MATERIAL. Furniture Assembly Our expert furniture assemblers are experienced with the assembly of everything from in-house to commercial furniture. Have your items shipped, cleared, delivered and assembled to your requirements ready for your use. Office Setup We install and setup office furniture at your location. Our services include the planning, coordinating and building of office furniture systems, including cubicles, modular office furniture, work stations and cabinets. Insurance Marine Insurance - your cargo is covered as it makes its way from Miami to Grand Cayman. Local Insurance - our staff and your property is covered during the entire move or delivery. Pre-Clearance for Perishables Pre-clearance is a quick release procedure that allows a declaration to be submitted to Customs and processed before the arrival of goods. Pre-clearance can be granted for perishable goods. Cayman Islands Currency Cayman has its own currency – the Cayman Islands Dollar (KYD). This is tied to the US Dollar and does not fluctuate. The exchange rate is 1 KYD = US$1.25 Cash rate is traded locally at 1 KYD = US$1.20 or 1 US = $0.80 KYD Currency denominations are 1, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 KYD bills.
